Create a useful site record
Authorized administrators can create and edit locations with a name, code, structured address, timezone and notes. Consistent naming helps the team choose the right site when assignments are created.
- Use recognizable site names and clear address fields.
- Keep access instructions in the notes and review them when the site changes.
Check the address and coordinates together
The location editor supports coordinates and a map picker. Review the saved pin against the real destination before relying on it for directions or task location checks, especially after editing an address.
- Confirm each edited location independently before rollout.
- Assisted address lookup requires separate configuration and release validation; it is not a current guaranteed capability.
Add detail inside the building
With Pro, define floors and named spaces such as corridors, washrooms and supply rooms. Pins and outlined areas help managers describe where work belongs without relying on an informal nickname.
- Use the names that people see on the building’s signage.
- Floor plans provide planning context, not precise indoor employee tracking.
Practical answers
Is automatic address search ready to use?
Automatic address search and address-to-pin assistance remain under validation. Confirm the setup with us and review each saved address and map pin before using it for directions or location checks.
Do I need Pro to create a location?
Basic site records are part of the core operation. Floor plans, spaces and spatial-planning tools are part of Pro. Prices and capacity allowances are confirmed separately.
Does the map automatically optimize the team’s route?
No. The daily route follows scheduled work and can open directions in the phone’s maps app. Automatic route optimization is not included.
