The problem on site needs a next step.

A locked door, broken fixture or missing supply can change the shift. Employees can report the problem from Cleaner, with task or location context when available. Supervisors keep the report in view and update its status as the team responds.

Sample report · Riverside

Supply-room door is locked

The team cannot reach the supplies for the meeting-room reset.

Access · Medium severity

The employee has submitted the report. A supervisor can review its context.

Report the obstacle where the work happens

Open Report an issue from the employee menu or a task. Give the report a clear title and description, then choose its category and severity. Task-linked reports carry the context of that assignment.

  • Describe what is blocked and where the team found it.
  • Use the report for operational follow-up; use your established channel for emergencies.

Keep unresolved work visible

The issue queue brings reports together for authorized supervisors. Filter by status and inspect the description, reporter and available task or site context before deciding the next action.

  • Separate open reports from work already in progress.
  • Resolve or dismiss an issue deliberately, and reopen it if further attention is needed.

Keep the report separate from the corrective task

An issue records a problem. A task assigns the work to deal with it. Update the issue status as your team responds, and create a follow-up assignment when someone needs a specific job and deadline.

  • Enable the issue-reported notification event when useful.
  • A report does not automatically assign a responder, start an escalation timer or create a repair task.

Practical answers

Can staff add photos or videos to an issue?

The current issue form collects text, category and severity. It does not have an attachment uploader. Task photo evidence is a separate workflow.

Does Cleaner automatically escalate urgent issues?

No. Severity helps supervisors interpret the report. Automatic escalation, service-level timers and emergency dispatch are not available.

Is an issue the same as a rejected task review?

No. Issue reports, completed-task reviews and account approval requests have separate queues and purposes. Use an issue to record an obstacle and a task to assign corrective work.
